Laura Hubbs (they/she) is a college student working to find their space in the world. They think in abstractions and poetry and work to find ways to express their thoughts to others.

A queer artist, many of Laura’s pieces are framed around the concepts of identity and escaping the constraints of the conservative Midwest they grew up in.

While still located in the Midwest, Laura works to form meaningful connections with other students who share interests and experiences. They’ve help head the formation of a mental health organization on campus to encourage new students to form strong connections and friendships with their peers.
